Freehand Profit goes Up In Smoke…

Before Jay and Silent Bob or Seth Rogen and James Franco there was Cheech and Chong. In fact if it weren’t for the insanely funny and trail blazing comedy routine of Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong movies like Pineapple Express and Mallrats may never have been made. Last May, just a few weeks later than the anticipated 4/20 release, Nike honored the pot smokin’, wise crackin’ comedy team with their own shoe. The ever popular SB Dunks were fashioned with red bandanna and corduroy to tribute their iconic head wear. Even crazier is that the toe of the sneakers can be scraped away to reveal a fuzzy green felt bearing a striking resemblance to everyone’s favorite herb. This piece can be seen at the Pancakes & Booze Art Show open October 21st and 22nd. This will be the first oppurtunity to purchase the mask, otherwise the mask will go up for auction on eBay on Monday October 24th. Like all masks from The Branding Wars, this is a 1 of 1.
