Easily a favorite of mine and one I felt that was long past due considering my deep love for Air Max 90s. Everything happens for a reason though and the timing was perfect. The 90th mask, made from 2 pairs of Infrared Air Max 90s released on March 26, 2015* – That’s Air Max Day for you non-sneakerheads. It’s also the 25th anniversary of Tinker Hatfield’s masterpiece, well one of em… the guy’s a genius.

*This same approach was imitated overseas by Nike Russia who hired 2 artists who I inspired to make Air Max 95 gas masks. My response will be in mask form, Number 101.

The mask is a 1 of 1 and now belongs to @FreezyFreeky, currently it’s in Paris on display at theΒ galleryΒ  of the Credit Municipal (rue des Francs Bourgeois) near Beaubourg as part of an exhibition on sneakers.
