Just in time for the anticipated return of Halo in the form of the Master Chief Collection, Freehand Profit & ASTRO Gaming came together once again to create a one of a kind piece of art where sneakers and gaming collide.
The 88th sneaker mask by Freehand Profit, the Master Chief helmet features ASTRO Gaming‘s new A50 Halo Headset. Ready for battle, the A50’s armored frame has been decked out with the original Spartan green, is accented with gold vertical size adjusters, and proudly displays the Master Chief’s 117 Spartan tag. The headset’s integrated MixAmp™ gives players the power of Dolby headphone audio and the AG1 chat cable enables clear communication with your team. Whether your passion is campaign or multiplayer, the Halo Xbox A50 completes the hardcore Halo fan’s experience. Click here to see more Halo Edtion headsets from ASTRO Gaming.
The definitive Halo experience is coming November 11, 2014. Features a re-mastered Halo 2: Anniversary, along with Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 3, Halo 4, Halo: Nightfall (a new digital series), and access to the Halo 5: Guardians Multiplayer Beta.
In Freehand Profit’s re-imagining, Master Chief’s iconic reflective gold visor comes from a KLR goggles by HK Army. The KLR Goggle system features an optically correct, high-definition, UV\IR shielded dual-pane thermal lens – which after being subjected to Freehand’s deconstruct/construction methods – now reflect the hexagon patterns of the Lebron XI sole, reminiscent of MC’s visor.
The helmet and accompanying shoulder pads and chest/back plate are made from 3 pairs of Lebron XI EXT “King’s Crown” and is modeled by Mingyu Chu of Chu Media Studios (Director of the upcoming Freehand Profit documentary ‘A Cut Above’ & founder of Chu Media Studios). Mingyu was also an actor in the Halo short film – Halo: Helljumpers. The helmet and armor created by Freehand Profit also feature parts of armor from the film as well as pieces of an ASTRO Gaming back pack, patches & even a baseball cap.
