Come kick it with Freehand Profit and 100 skulls.
I’m leaving the palm trees and traffic behind for a week and going back home to the Northern Virginia/DC area next week. The time with my family, beautiful girlfriend, seeing life long friends, getting my Smithsonian fix and an interview with Daydream Filmworks for an upcoming documentary featuring the Air Jordan gas mask will come to a climax on Friday June 3rd at Gallery 5 in Richmond, VA. I was honored with an invite to participate in the Skull Appreciation Day exhibition where 100 artists have made 100 skulls, all starting from the same base skull. I continued the Branding Wars series for my skull but if you want to see it you’ll have come see it in person. Here’s a hint, it’s a skull as fly as Obama’s plane. I’ll post some photos for folks who are too far to make it next week. If you’re in the area though this is a show that you won’t want to miss. Noah Scalin from Skull-A-Day put this show together and if anyone knows his skulls it’s Noah. I’ll be there Friday for the opening but if you’re lucky enough to be in Richmond over the weekend make sure you check out all the fun activities and workshops that they’ll be throwing for Skull Appreciation Day including a skeletal soirée at 7pm.
