This is the official site and blog of artist Freehand Profit (creator of the sneaker gas masks, MASK365, Guerrilla Art Squadron, PROFITink.com and more). That's me. Midwest born, DMV raised, West Coast livin' artist with a healthy obsession for masks, Hip-Hop, and kicks. Founding member of the Fat Chance Crew- Stay muddy, get fly! "Army of the Undeadstock" was Freehand Profit's first book and features more than 250 pages of full color photographs showcasing his work from the past few years. Each one of the more than 35 sneaker masks featured in "Army of the Undeadstock" was accompanied by a custom crafted haiku written by San Diego poet B(e) Selah. The book also featured excerpts from Freehand Profit's blog 'The Hip Hop Nerd' discussing the meaning, the process and the spirit behind the work. Although it sold out in just 6 months, Freehand is back in the lab making new masks and working on his 2nd book.
